Micro-animations is one of my favorite "genres" of motion design. Inspired by the settings dial of a Rebel XS, I created four micro animations that bring the dial icons to life. Starting with a sketchbook to ideate (and cut ideas) before moving into Illustrator and After Effects allowed me to envision the animation before rendering.
